Αύγουστος 2017: Οι playlist των συντακτών μας

Η καλοκαιρινή ραστώνη δεν επεφύλασσε εκπλήξεις. Ευτυχώς, διότι οι εκπλήξεις που έχουμε βιώσει την τρέχουσα χρονιά ως επί των πλείστων δεν ήταν ιδιαίτερα ευχάριστα. Τα λίγα - και όχι ιδιαίτερα σημαντικά - νέα δεν διατάραξαν τις διακοπές και όλοι φορτώσαμε μπαταρίες για μια ακόμα πιο παραγωγική «νέα σεζόν».

Παρ' όλα αυτά παρουσιάσαμε είκοσι τέσσερις νέες κυκλοφορίες μεταξύ των οποίων αυτές των Alice Cooper, Gorillaz, Septicflesh, Threshold, Paradise Lost, Rex Brown και Papa Roach.

Παράλληλα, δημοσιεύσαμε έξι ολοκαίνουργιες συνεντεύξεις με τον Tomas Lindberg (At The Gates, The Lurkin Fear), τους Threshold, τους Leprous, τους Paradise Lost, τους Pristine και τους Thy Art Is Murder, ενώ καλύψαμε τις συναυλίες των Sacred Reich στη Θεσσαλονίκη και των Black Lips στην Αθήνα.

Επίσης, ολοκληρώθηκε η ψηφοφορία των αναγνωστών για να αναδείξουν τα καλύτερα metal άλμπουμ της δεκαετίας του '80 και τα αποτελέσματα θα μας τα παρουσιάσουν σύντομα κάποιοι πολύ εκλεκτοί καλεσμένοι μας.

Στις επιλογές των συντακτών μας, όπως αυτές αποτυπώνονται στις playlist παρακάτω, τον άτυπο τίτλο του δίσκου του μήνα τον κερδίζουν οι Leprous με το εντυπωσιακό "Malina".
