Οι φετινοί νικητές των Βραβείων Όσκαρ

Σήμερα τα ξημερώματα έλαβε χώρα η τελετή απονομής των φετινών Βραβείων Όσκαρ, στο Dolby Theatre του Hollywood.

Αυτός είναι ο 88ος χρόνος βραβεύσεων των κινηματογραφικών επιτευγμάτων της σεζόν από τους κριτικούς της επιτροπής της Ακαδημίας.

Η ταινία "Spotlight" κέρδισε το βραβείο «Καλύτερης Ταινίας», νικώντας κατά κράτος τα "The Revenant", "The Big Short", "Bridge Οf Spies", "Brooklyn", "Mad Max: Fury Road", "The Martian" και "Room".

Ο Alejandro González Iñárritu κέρδισε το δεύτερο Όσκαρ «Καλύτερης Σκηνοθεσίας» της καριέρας του για το "The Revenant". Πέρυσι μόλις, είχε κατακτήσει το ίδιο βραβείο για το "Birdman", καταφέρνοντας να γραφτεί στην κινηματογραφική ιστορία ως ο πρώτος σκηνοθέτης που κέρδισε Όσκαρ δύο χρονιές συνεχόμενα.

Τα μεγάλα νέα της χθεσινής τελετής είναι άλλα: Μετά από πέντε υποψηφιότητες, ο Leonardo DiCaprio επιτέλους κατάφερε να κερδίσει το χρυσό αγαλματίδιο για τον ρόλο του Hugh Glass στο "The Revenant". Στις κυρίες, η Brie Larson πήρε σπίτι τον θείο Όσκαρ για την ερμηνεία της στο κλειστοφοβικό Room.

Επίσης σπουδαίο το ότι ο μεγάλος μαέστρος Ennio Morricone τελικά πήρε την θέση που του άξιζε στο πάνθεον των βραβευμένων με Όσκαρ συνθετών για την θαυμάσια μουσική επένδυση της ταινίας του Quentin Tarantino, "The Hateful Eight" – αυτός μετά από έξι υποψηφιότητες.

Ο Sam Smith αναδείχθηκε νικητής στην κατηγορία «Καλύτερο Πρωτότυπο Τραγούδι» με το 15ο τραγούδι τίτλων ταινίας του Πράκτορα 007, "Writing’s on the Wall".
