Transatlantic interview with Pete Trewavas

"Good music doesn't stop being good music just because it's old"

A few hours before Transatlantic hit the stage of Astra Kulturhaus in Berlin the scenery backstage was nice to watch. Roine was relaxing on his PC, Neal was jogging, Mike was walking around with a cup of coffee, while Ted was working on Yes material that the band would play live a few gigs later. On the other hand, Pete Trewavas was kind enough to spend his time talking about Transatlantic's present status and future plans, the special bond between the four members of the band, the continuation of progressive rock's legacy, having Ted Leonard on board for the tour and why being more successful won't necessarily make you more happy. After the interview I had the feeling that this was not just a nice conversation with a great musician, but a chance to meet one of the most kind spirited, clever and humble musicians I've met so far. And that makes this interview even more special...
