Σε όλους μας αρέσει να διαβάζουμε λίστες, αυτή εδώ δεν αποτελεί βέβαια εξαίρεση.

Το Loudwire.com επέλεξε τους δικούς του 50 κορυφαίους μπασίστες στην ιστορία του hard rock και heavy metal. Tους τύπους δηλαδή που, σχεδόν, ποτέ δεν βάζουν το "εγώ" τους πάνω από τη μπάντα!

Τα κριτήριά τους είχαν να κάνουν, μεταξύ άλλων, με τεχνικές ικανότητες, πρωτοπορία στον ήχο, εύρος επιρροών, ενεργά χρόνια και δημοφιλία.
