Επετειακή επανέκδοση του "Wish You Were Here" ανακοίνωσαν οι Pink Floyd

Πριν λίγες ημέρες συμπληρώθηκαν 50 χρόνια από την κυκλοφορία του "Wish You Were Here", του κλασικού ένατου στούντιο δίσκου των Pink Floyd.

Για να τιμήσει την επέτειο, το θρυλικό σχήμα ανακοίνωσε την κυκλοφορία μιας διευρυμένης επανέκδοσης του άλμπουμ, η οποία θα περιέχει πληθώρα εναλλακτικων εκδοχών των κομματιών, demo αλλά και ζωντανών εκτελέσεων.

Το άλμπουμ, θα είναι διαθέσιμο στις 12 Δεκεμβρίου μέσω της Sony σε τριπλό βινύλιο ή διπλό CD.

Παράλληλα, η box set εκδοχή θα περιέχει και ένα τέταρτο δίσκο, στον οποίο θα είναι καταγεγραμμένη η εμφάνιση των Pink Floyd στο Wembley, ενώ στο συνοδευτικό Blu-Ray θα αποτυπώνονται τρείς συναυλίες των Pink Floyd από το 1975.

Υπενθυμίζεται πως το "Wish You Were Here", ένα από τα κορυφαία και πιο επιτυχημένα άλμπουμ όλων των εποχών, αποτελεί τον διαχρονικό φόρο τιμής των Pink Floyd στον Syd Barrett.
