Το Σάββατο 8 Σεπτεμβρίου, τo Bolivar σε συνεργασία με τη Mahayana Records διοργανώνει το AMITABHA Fest, μια νέα μουσική γιορτή που έρχεται να γεφυρώσει τις υπέροχες μελωδίες σπουδαίων καλλιτεχνών.

Το line up υπόσχεται μια ανεπανάληπτη μουσική πραγματικότητα σ’ ένα τελευταίο μεγάλο καλοκαιρινό πάρτι πάνω στην άμμο και δίπλα στο κύμα. 

Headliner ένα από τα σπουδαιότερα ονόματα της παγκόσμιας electro pop σκηνής, οι πολυαγαπημένοι του Ελληνικού κοινού Kadebostany. 

Το ιδιαίτερο line up πλαισιώνεται από την παρουσία της ανερχόμενης Katerine Duska και του Γιάννη Καπετανάκη που με τη λύρα του θα πραγματοποιήσει ένα live loop project που θα μαγέψει και θα συγκινήσει το κοινό. Ολοκληρώνουν το line up σε ιδιαίτερα dj set οι Kled Mone και VKD.

Saturday 8th of September, Bolivar Beach Bar in collaboration with Mahayana Records organizes the AMITABHA Fest, a new music fest that comes to bridge the wonderful melodies of great artists. The line up stimulates imagination and promises an unforgettable musical reality in a last big summer party on the sand and next to the waves. Headliner is one of the most prominent names of the electro pop scene, the beloved of Greek audience Kadebostany. The line up is framed by the presence of the upcoming Katerine Duska and Yannis Kapetanakis, who with his lyra will perform a loop project that will enchant and will make the audience feel emotive. The opening dj sets will be performed by Kled Mone and VKD.

Χωρίς αμφιβολία οι Kadebostany αποτελούν τους ηγέτες της νέας pop αυτοκρατορίας και την φετινή χρονιά το αποδεικνύουν ακόμα περισσότερο με το, ήδη εμβληματικό, νέο τους album “MONUMENTAL”. Ενός album με “13 εκλεπτυσμένα τραγούδια για τις μάζες”. Ο πρόεδρος των Kadebostany συγκέντρωσε το «στρατό» του με σκοπό να διευρύνει το όνομά τους και να προκαλέσει εκ νέου τα όρια της σύγχρονης μουσικής. Και φυσικά τα κατάφερε. Ο Guillaumede Kadebostany αποφάσισε σ’ αυτό το album να μην υποκύψει σε κανόνες και να βρει την ισορροπία μεταξύ ριζοσπαστισμού και αμεσότητας, ενισχύοντας την ιδιαίτερη popαισθητική τους και δημιουργώντας ένα μουσικό αποτέλεσμα που παραμένει εξίσου απρόβλεπτο και ελκυστικό. Με το “MONUMENTAL”, η δημοκρατία των Kadebostany βάζει τα θεμέλια σε κάθε χώρα και αναζητά νέους “υπηκόους” για να μεταδώσουν τη νέα εποχή που πρεσβεύουν. Με τα περίφημα πλέον, “Mind If I Stay”, "Save Me" και "Early Morning Dreams" κέρδισαν εκ νέου τις καρδιές του κοινού. Εξάλλου η μέχρι τώρα πορεία τους δεν θα μπορούσε να επιφυλάξει άλλη εξέλιξη. Το 2013 κυκλοφόρησαν τον δεύτερο δίσκο τους "Pop Collection", άγγιξε το κοινό με την μουσική του ποικιλία και τις όμορφες συναισθηματικές του μελωδίες. H πληθώρα των μουσικών ειδών πάνω στην οποία έχτισε το δίσκο ο Ελβετός αυτός «μάγος» αποτελεί ένα υπέροχο όχημα για όσους ψάχνουν πέρα από τη συνήθη electro-pop. Χωρίς βέβαια να ξεχνάμε τις τεράστιες επιτυχίες όπως “Walking With a Ghost“, “Castle in the Snow“, “Frozen To Death“, “Jolan” και βέβαια τη διασκευή στο “Crazy In Love“ της Beyonce (για το film “Fifty Shades of Grey”), όλα συνοδευόμενα πάντα από καταπληκτικά videos. Επιπλέον, η εκκεντρική σκηνική τους παρουσία ενθουσιάζει το κοινό, καθιστώντας τα show τους μια μαγευτική πρόκληση των αισθήσεων. Δίπλα στο κύμα θα είναι μια εμπειρία που δε πρέπει να χάσετε.

Katerine Duska

H Ελληνοκαναδή Katerine Duska είναι τραγουδίστρια και συνθέτρια με έδρα την Αθήνα. Γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στο Μόντρεαλ και εκτέθηκε σε μια ευρεία γκάμα μουσικών ακουσμάτων κι επιρροών από pop, soul και r&b μέχρι folk και κλασσική μουσική. Το μουσικό της στυλ θα μπορούσε να περιγραφεί ως indie-pop συναντά τη neo-soul και τη χαρακτηριστική soulful φωνητική ιδιαιτερότητα της. Η Katerine εμφανίστηκε για πρώτη φορά στην ελληνική μουσική σκηνή το 2013 με το τραγούδι hit "One in a Million" μαζί με μια υπέροχη διασκευή του "Do I wanna know" των Arctic Monkeys. Το σπουδαίο debut album της “Embodiment” κυκλοφόρησε το 2015. Το 2016, υπήρξε support στη συναυλία της LP 's στην Αθήνα όπως και στους Imam Baildi στο Λονδίνο. Έχει συνεργαστεί με τον βρετανό καλλιτέχνη Tom Baxter. Το 2017 κυκλοφόρησε το EP “Embodiment Revisits”. Το 2018 τo τραγούδι της "Fire Away" χρησιμοποιήθηκε για την διαφημιστική καμπάνια τεράστιου ομίλου καφέ στον Καναδά.

Γιάννης Καπετανάκης

Ο Κρητικός Γιάννης Καπετανάκης έχει μια βιωματική θα έλεγε κανείς σχέση με τη λύρα αποτελώντας έναν οδοιπόρο της μουσικής αναζήτησης. Με τον πρώτο του δίσκο «Πίσω από τον Καθρέφτη» μας συστήθηκε και ως τραγουδοποιός. Μετά το πρώτο άλμπουμ αφουγκράστηκε ακόμη περισσότερο τις δημιουργικές του ανάγκες, τολμώντας μία εξωστρεφή και άμεση σχέση με το κοινό είτε παίζοντας στο δρόμο είτε στα Μάταλα της Κρήτης, κατάφερε να συλλέξει μία σειρά από μελωδίες, που περικλείουν όλα όσα κατά καιρούς τον έχουν συγκινήσει. Από τον ηλεκτρισμό έως την κρητική, παραδοσιακή μουσική. Αποτέλεσμα αυτής της διαδικασίας ήταν «Η προσευχή της λύρας». Τον Γιάννη και την λύρα του μπορεί να τους συναντήσεις στους δρόμους του κόσμου, σε κάποιο φεστιβάλ της Γκόα, του Βερολίνο, της Ουτρέχτη ή σε μια μουσική παρέα σε έρημη παραλία της Κρήτης να μαγεύουν και συγκινούν το κοινό που τους ακούει.

Kadebostany undoubtedly are the leaders of the new pop empire and this year they prove it even more with their new, already emblematic, album "MONUMENTAL". An album with 13 "sophisticated songs for the masses". The president of Kadebostany gathered his "army" to expand their name and re-create the boundaries of modern music. And of course he did it. Guillaumede Kadebostany has decided in this album not to succumb to rules and to strike a balance between radicalism and immediacy, enhancing their distinctive popvisibility and creating a musical result that is equally unpredictable and appealing. With MONUMENTAL, the Kadebostany democracy sets the foundations in each country and seeks new "citizens" to convey the new era they are conceiving. With the famous "Mind If I Stay", "Save Me" and "Early Morning Dreams", they have again won the hearts of the audience. Moreover, their course so far could not hold any other development. In 2013 they released their second album "Pop Collection", which touched the audience with its musical variety and its beautiful emotional melodies. The plethora of musical genres on which this Swiss "magician" has built this album is a great vehicle for those looking beyond the usual electro-pop. Without of course forgetting the huge successes like "Walking With a Ghost", "Castle in the Snow", "Frozen To Death", "Jolan", and of course the adaptation of Beyonce's "Crazy In Love" (for the film "Fifty Shades of Gray"), all accompanied by amazing videos. Moreover, their eccentric stage presence excites the audience, making their shows an enchanting challenge to the senses. Next to the wave this show will be an experience you should not miss.

Greekcanadian Katerine Duska is a singer and songwriter based in Athens. She was born and raised in Montreal and exhibited in a wide range of musical accents and influences from pop, soul and r & b to folk and classical music. Her musical style could be described as indie-pop meets neo-soul and her characteristic soulful singularity. Katerine first appeared in the Greek music scene in 2013 with the song "One in a Million" along with a wonderful adaptation of "Do I Wanna Know" by Arctic Monkeys. The great debut album of hers "Embodiment" was released in 2015. In 2016 she was the support act for LP's concert in Athens and the same with Imam Baildi in London. She has collaborated with British artist Tom Baxter. In 2017 was released the EP "Embodiment Revisits". In 2018, her song "Fire Away" was used for the advertising campaign of a huge coffee group in Canada.

Cretan Yannis Kapetanakis has an experiential relationship with the lyre, becoming this way a strider of music search. With his first album "Behind the Mirror" he was introduced to us also as a songwriter. After the first album, he listened even more to his creative needs, daring an extrovert and direct relationship with the audience, either playing on the road or in Matala, Crete, he managed to collect a series of melodies that include everything he has moved him from time to time. From electricity to the Cretan, traditional music. The result of this process was "The Lyre Pray". Giannis and his lyre can be met up on the streets of the world, at a festival in Goa, Berlin, Utrecht or in a music company on a deserted beach of Crete to enchant and excite the audience that listens to them.
